Economic impact modeling is especially useful for analyzing
the regional or national job creation contribution of an
investment in activities such as green or traditional energy
generation, energy transmission, commercial and industrial
development, transportation, tourism, and other economic
development. EPR is often called upon to estimate the economic
impacts of such activities, or government policies affecting
the cost of doing business or to households, on employment,
income, and tax revenue. We adapt widely-accepted regional
economic impact models (including IMPLAN®, REMI®,
or other existing models best suited to each project),
or develop tailored models.
